Colonial Spirits Oktoberfest 2017!
Guten Tag! Join us This Saturday, 9/23 from 1-5 p.m. for the Colonial Spirits Oktoberfest experience!
The days are quickly dwindling until we host our annual Oktoberfest here inside the walls of Colonial Spirits. No, there will be no tents or week-long festivals as you traditionally see in Germany. And, no, unfortunately we cannot actually pour boots of beer, though we’d love to (sorry!). However, we will have a day of beer tasting with Colonial Spirits flare!
There will be several traditional Oktoberfests and Marzens to try, as well as our most popular American fall seasonal, the pumpkin ale, in abundance! We will also be pouring tastes of fall seasonal beers that reach outside of both of these categories from some of the best breweries in America. We will also be serving Bratwurst, Sauerkraut and pretzels! We hope to see you Saturday!

Down the Road Tasting
Born in Everett, Massachusetts, this brewery is almost literally down the road from our store. They are quickly becoming prolific with their recent New England IPA and their delightfully tart berlinerweisses.
Down the Road started as just a man with a hobby and, after a few gold medals at brewing competitions, he decided to turn his passion into his career.
For anyone looking for something new, delicious, and local this tasting is for you!
Long Trail Tasting!
Long Trail is the ale to cure what ails you.
It’s the Steal of the Month for September.
They have fantastic beers from their brown Double Bag Altbier, to their immensely refreshing and satisfyingly bitter Limbo IPA.
And we have a tasting where you can try their entire selection.

Elysian and Kona Island Beer Tasting
A brewery from Seattle, Washington and new to Massachusetts, Elysian is a great new addition to our collection of beer.
Bill had a fire in his eyes when he heard we could finally get their delightfully hoppy Space Dust IPA and it has been a feature in our cooler ever since.
And if that were not enough, we will also be tasting Kona Island Brewery’s beers! This Hawaiian brewery is perfect for the summer weather that has (finally) arrived. You might have noticed we have Kona’s 12 packs on sale (the lowest price in the state no less: 10.75 +dep per 12 pack) and if you wanted a chance to try it first, this is your chance!
Wachusett
To go along with our sale, we will have Wachusett here to pour some of their stuff. Their brand new IPA Wally is making some big waves in the beer world. People just can’t believe that Wachusett made such a great hazy IPA. Definitely worth at shot. You won’t find a beer like this in a 6 pack, let alone for the price. Come try their new stuff and remind yourself about the old.
