One of the original wineries that established itself as one of the wineries to never forget. You may not know it, but Wente Vineyards is who we have to thank for the majority of the Chardonnay we drink today. Creators of the Wente Clone Chardonnay solidified Wente Vineyard importance to the California Wine Industry and the market at large. To this day Wente wines are perceived as some of the best expressions of the eponymously named clone, but tasting is believing.
