This is the 2nd sparkling wine tasting of the month, and what could be better than the house known for brands like Moet et Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, and Dom Perignon? Domaine Chandon is Moet et Chandon’s California sister. Where Moet is your typical precise, clean, and austere Champagne, Domaine is your heavier, more robust, sits in the sun all day style. This doesn’t mean you should’t take Domaine seriously, on the contrary, you should take them very seriously, especially with blends like the Etoile. But as always, you don’t have to take my word.
