The South American Tasting
March 3, 2012
South America, although receiving recent attraction should be looked at as a place of wonder, because around every corner there are new and intriguing wines. Chile had a great run with Cab Sauvs not too long ago, and Argentinian Malbecs are still growing strong, but both countries have so much more to offer. Chile’s Carmenere, blending grape from Bordeaux, and Syrah have been seeing some great press as of recently, while Argentinian Torrontes and Cab Sauv have also appeared on the radar. What really entices buyers, both retail and consumers, is the quality to price ratio, great bottles of wine for close to nothing. If you haven’t had a wine from South America and are looking to try new and exciting wines, stop by and see first hand what we mean. Enjoy!!
