Meet the Winemaker: Giorgio Flessati from Falernia

We have been preaching about the wines from Falernia out of Elqui Valley, Chile for the past year. Some of you have gotten on board, thank you. But, some of you still haven’t. I know, blindly trying something is not the easiest choice to make especially if you are talking about a bottle of wine that can cost anywhere from $13-$25 if not your dinner (assuming someone made a bad wine pairing recommendation). However, for those that still haven’t boarded the Falernia train and are looking for that extra push in the right direction here is your opportunity. On Saturday, February 13th (Could this have been better planned?) from 1-4 PM we will be hosting Giorgio Flessati, winemaker for Falernia. I was fortunate enough to have met Giorgio back in mid-2015, and all I can say is that everyone is in for a real treat. Giorgio will be pouring his wines this fine afternoon for anyone and everyone that either made plans to stop by or just happened to stop by. Regardless, if you happen to have a couple of minutes off and would like to meet an excellent and exciting winemaker this is an event not to be missed. Hope to see you there!
