Loch Lomond Single Malt

Making whisky since 1814 doesn’t exactly make Loch Lomond new single malt, but they are a recent addition to the shelves.  It’s not that these bottles haven’t yet sold in the US, it’s a re-branding and a value proposition that make this exciting.  In an area of surging prices, Loch Lomond is decidedly  modest (price wise).  A traditional Highland style is presented with the faintest hint of smoke.  Across the range there is much to discover as different casks add their character to the malt.
