The Most Classic, Classic Malts

Of the ‘Classic Malts’, a short list of well known single malts, the 2 most classic are Oban 14yr and Lagavulin 16yr. Why?, you ask. Well, because they are the best… and because these are the two that we are sampling.
Seriously, both of these scotches are really good and really are classic examples of single malt. Oban represents the Highlands and is wonderfully flavorful and slightly briny. Lagavulin is the peat mammoth of the group but has a rich mouthfeel and great depth.
