Aberlour is a relatively low production distillery founded in 1879 that if famous for its double cask aging. Both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks are used to aged the whisky. A proportion from each cask is then married to create a deeper character and well rounded flavor. Known for ‘smooth’, rich whisky, Aberlour offers superior value and a most pleasing dram.
