The recent holiday season truly brought reason for good cheer to everyone here at Colonial Spirits Delivers. Having enjoyed an excellent year throughout 2013, the company finished the year with our most successful month since we first launched our Boston alcohol delivery website in the spring of 2011.
When Colonial Spirits Delivers was launched as Colonial Spirits of Acton’s e-commerce arm, we had just one simple goal in mind: offer our customers an easy and convenient way to buy alcohol online. Little did we think that, from our humble beginnings, our service would expand to become synonymous with liquor delivery to Boston and the rest of Massachusetts.
Our success in December 2013 helped us confirm that we have been doing something right through all our years of service. In the last month of 2013, we broke all our existing records in terms of sales figures and the dollar value of our earnings.
That was not our only cause for celebration, however. For every month in 2013, the company recorded an improved performance in sales when compared to its corresponding month in 2012. This increase in month-to-month sales resulted in a significant overall increase in sales for the year, up by about 25% from 2012.
At the start of 2014, the company is focused on maintaining this record of excellent service to our customers in Massachusetts. In a sense, we plan to do more of the same—offer an excellent selection of quality wines, beer, and spirits from our iconic Acton store via our website and then personally hand-deliver your requests right to your doorstep.
With this renewed dedication to excellent service, we hope to continue growing our business so that we can serve our customers even better. It is our plan to increase our capacity so that we may be able to fulfill any Boston alcohol delivery order in a timely and professional manner. Likewise, we also intend to set new sales records in 2014 as we continue to increase awareness about our brand and our services in the community.
